Big keys not mentioned - big hinge in the backswing and turn your body fully toward the target.
So what club are you using? Would be helpful if you gave us more information.
Flop shots are normally done with the highest lofted club in your bag.... this would be your sand wedge or the aptly named LOB wedge....
thanks - good information. however when I try this shot I often blade the ball - so how do you avoid this? I assume it relates to weight shift. thanks
