Daily Video Tips
I have a problem taking a full swing. My friends tell me that I'm too stiff and I'm all arms. What can I practice to change this?
It is possible to build a heavy driver for practice swings each day with many repititions (50 or more). Get an old driver with a steel shaft, cut a hole in the grip cap, and then drop split shot (from fishing) down the shaft. Use a steel rod to ram each one in so it doesn't slide back and forth when you swing. You can start relativeky light and add weight as you get stronger. This makes you much stronger so you can control your shots easily.
Enjoy watching the tips. But, call me dense, how would I know whether I have a strong grip or weak grip?
I have a long putter and go straight back and straight through.
Any comments or tips (or even a video) for putting with long putters?
Thanks and kind regards
Willi
I play a lot of mountain courses. Could you post some instructional videos about hitting the ball in various locations on steep inclines/downhills?
Thanks James ! Ill see if it helps me this weekend !
On many videos the words scrolling on the bottom block out the view of what the instructor is teaching.
Is this different if you use a long putter? Are the choices the same - straight back or arc with a long putter?
thank you
Walter
I hope this will give me a few more yards... I am hitting the fairways but have lost 30 to 40 yards over the last few years.
