Simple explanation for keeping the feeling of the club head
Paul Runyon advocated a split grip for chipping. He was pretty good.
Chris,
I really struggle with chipping as a 4 handicap. It’s mental but I try to get the technique right. At present, I feel best when I take it back and at club parallel, my right palm and the back of my left hand are facing out (so the Club face is fairly open). That helps me get my right hand involved. I see many great chippers of the ball, including Jason day, have a closed club face at club parallel. I am curious if you have any thoughts on if one is better than the other or if it just depends on what type of shot you were hitting. Thanks so much as this part of my game needs so much help.

Thanks Chris, definitely my biggest problem. I must try it.thanks
same question. what loft of the hybrid ?
What hybrid should I use? 4, 5, 7??
My father-in-law taught me this tip 15 years ago only with irons. I use the hybrid now; very successful with some practice to get the feel. Great tip. Thanks
