Daily Video Tips
Thank you James! I really need to try this drill asap. I tend to struggle with the "feeling" I should have in my downswing. Hope this will improve my muscle memory. Have a great week
Can the drill be duplicated with a heavy weighted club instead of using 3 clubs?
Hi James
Thank you for the tip. Incidentally I saw someone practicing his swing with two irons in his hands last Friday and I was wondering what was he doing. Now I understand with this video.
Wet/hard sand? Bounce as close to ball as possible to redirect ricochet without leading edge thinning? Good high shot control and spin result, when not able to produce good divot under ball?
Seems to work..
I’ve been struggling with solid iron contact for a long time. Pure the driver and hybrids, a mess with irons. Can’t figure if it’s mental or physical. Will definitely give your tip a try. Thanks!
Thanks John, this may be what I need, I think I am often in an out-to-in swing, even though I am trying to work the other way. At least with this tip I can get the right feeling.
Should you let your shoulders turn rotate your forearms naturally
Depends. Some need to feel a little rotation thru impact, some can feel that a little after the strike. But it should be in there. Visualize tossing a ball… you would at some point turn thru the toss. Let me know if that helps.
